Recalled

I thought this was my 100th post, so I was waiting for it to be something good. Nope. Apparently it counts your drafts too, which I have 7. I looked over those drafts and there's some good stuff in there, like my post about people with commitment issues and how that's just not okay, or about the time I met Roger Clemens, or a few posts from England that I just never published for whatever reason. One week I am just going to post the throw-back posts!

So I went to get my car fixed the other day since it's recalled with the 1000's of others from Toyota. I dropped it off and apparently there was a 3rd fix they also wanted to do, so it took about 4 hours to be completed. As to whether or not it's truly fixed, I don't know. But I am confident that whatever happens does so for a reason, and in no way am I nervous about getting in my car and driving somewhere. I know the best thing to do in the event of a "runaway" and if that doesn't work, well I'll be going somewhere good so drink a DP in my honor. ;)

When I went to pick up my car though it was already pulled up and waiting. I went in and my service technician gave the keys to the runner to pull the car around. I told the technician it was already out there, and he ran out and double checked with the runner that it was indeed my car. As he came back he said there was another car just like mine that was also in the shop.

To which I replied: there's only one that has MY license plate. Sometimes people just amuse me.
